Previous Flights
Fledgling ~ FT1
Fledglings first flight, referred to as FT1 (Flight Test 1) was carried out on June 23rd, 2023. This flight was livestreamed on the Nebula Aerospace YouTube channel. This flight reached a max altitude of 38.5 meters. This purpose of this flight was to test Eagle R1 and see how well it was able to data log and deploy parachutes. The flight was deemed a partial success, as Eagle did log data and deploy chutes as expected, however, when the pyro charge was fired to get the parachutes out the high shock seems to have caused an issue with the arming switch for Eagle, causing the computer to reboot mid-flight. This error was not Eagles fault, and was a simple cable issue with the arming system that is an easy fix.
